Follows Elphaba, the future Wicked Witch of the West, and her relationship with Glinda, the Good Witch of the North. The second part of a two-part feature film adaptation of the Broadway musical … Wicked initially announced it would be split into two films in April 2022, with composer Stephen Schwartz explaining, « The truth is, we’ve been trying to make it for a while, a movie that’s forced us to cut out or leave out things that we wanted to include and that we think fans of the show and the story will appreciate. » He added, « We found it very difficult to be able to defy gravity; without interruption. « That song was written specifically to bring down the curtain, and whatever scene followed without interruption just seemed extremely disappointing. » Appears in AniMat’s Crazy Cartoon.
