He’s capable. He’s cute. He’s Dexter Morgan, America’s favorite serial killer, who spends his days solving crimes and his nights committing them. In season 8, Angel Batista wasn’t always played by David Zayas. His son David Zayas Jr. fills in for his father in some of the footage, as they look very similar. Visible throughout the first season, Dexter has a large scar on his left side. Later in season 2, the scar moved to the right side, leaving the left side intact. Dexter Morgan: I lived in the dark for a long time. Over the years, my eyes got used to it until the darkness became my world and I couldn’t see. Aired at the 64th Annual Golden Globe Awards (2007).
